This meeting wont be good for the rakyat. Probably a deal will be struck to benefit both camps and families. Where does that leave us all? Oi TDM, what happened to your allegations against AAB's camp? All cakap tin kosong or are u gonna use is as leverage to get some sweet deals from it?

The whole episode is about TDM do not get enough for his family members and cronies. After all the hardwork putting up a brave show, so now it is the time for harvest...

So the meeting will be just about "you take this one, I take this two..." And the right UMNOputrass' equity ownership will go up...

And the ordinary citizen will be made to believe a great peace deal has been reach. Instead, it shoulld be more like business deal...

Does it mean that an ex pm is more important than the pm? God help us!

This so call blow pipe smoking meeting will take place but it is not going to solve anything. AAB badly needed this meeting, to save his butt from UMNO. He wants the meeting before the delegates conference in early Novmember, to save his reputation. UMNO is divided, the delegates are going to roast him, his administration and his family during the meeting. No point in saying, I am in charge but here everyone is in charge like the MAT REMPIT. He needs TDM's support.
TDM is a strong minded person, like his late father who is wellknown as a strict displinarian. He will never turn his back. Here is some examples: Datuk Muslim of Kedah, who was a Deputy MB of Kedah was charged in court and found guilty for a minor case but he lost his pension. The Kedah Government willing to pardon him but not TDM. He met TDM many times; no way.
When Anwar was sacked, his wife met TDM's wife; to change his mind, no way.Though Anwar send many delegates but no way.Hundreds had met TDM regarding Anwar, no way.
Not only these but many others have had bad experiences with TDM.All of us knows his favourite song, 'My Way'.
This meeting is actualy forced on by UMNO members on AAB or you meet the consequences!!

TDM must not forget that AAB is incompetent.

Khazanah, some Govt owned banks etc have just given RM500 million to Cambridge University. Talk is it is to set up a chair of Malaysian Studies in Cambridge and Khairy Jamaludin has been appointed to head the Chair.

This is using taxpayers money as tho it is duit bapak hang.

AAB has to go. We also dont want Najib who is henpecked by his wife, who really wears the pants in the house.

Razaleigh is a no no. Dr M cannot come back - unless the whole UMNO wants him back.

Whatever AAB has to go - NOW. Ask him to resign and get lost somewhere.

If TDM loses sight of this - he will lose much credibility with his supporters. Next round no one will step fwd to help him. No one.

This is NOT about car dealerships, APs or Petronas contracts. This is our country.

This may be the case of two powerful locomotives hauling a train in both directions. TDM, in this reality show is intelligent enough not to allow his fingers to catch fire. Even so if there’s a wayang kulit to planned with a fully diffused lampu minyak. I am sure there’s going to be more complications than solutions. Unfortunately, The fairy-tale don’t just end here and their jerbu lingers forever….

This is TDM chance to make peace with Pak Lah. He knows that he is at the short end of the straw. All those powers under his 22yrs reign is now handed to Pak Lah. In a long drawn out war TDM has everything to loose. It is now to salvage his legacy and bolster his son's position in umno. So there is nothing for the rakyat to gain. Not expecting TDM to make any demand. All those expecting TDM to hold a trump card will be disappointed.

The more likely reason why Mahathir wants to meet AAB is because his son Mokzani is in deep trouble after the AP clone scandal. The grapevine is that his son is involved. The only way for him to get away scotch free is for Mahahtir to ask AAB to conceal his son involvement. So now mahathir has to grovel before AAB so that the clone scandal can be swept under the carpet. In return Mahahtir will cease his barrage of criticism. That is the reason why the meeting is one to one. Cannot make public mahahtir's request to ask AAB to help his son.

Mahathir has everything to lose and nothing to gain by contending against the current Prime Minister no matter how unintelligent he may appear to others. He recently lost the Branch elections and lost the opportunity to voice his grouses in the coming UMNO meeting. He realise that he has lost support even among those he kept in power when he was the PM. AAB can easily revive issues such as the BMF fiasco, Operasi Lallang, the sacking of the judges, Anwar Ibrahim's suit against him, MAS and many others. We know that the Courts are not independent even today.Mahathir would be the loser if these cases are brought up to scrutiny.Mokhzani is in deep trouble. The government could probe how as the PM he could amass great wealth. TDM being shrewd knows it is time to eat humble pie and agree to the meeting with AAB. In this way, he would still be able to salvage some pride and get AAB to agree to his suggestions so that he can live in peace the remainder of his life.

In spite of what the propagandist say, Dr. M, if anything, is a pragmatist. He knows his campaign is NOT gaining steam. For every point he makes, he is also losing point because of more revelation of his wrong doings. He knows he is going nowhere with what he is doing. Ending this with a face-saving way is the pragmatic way and he knows AAB will take it. The PM does not have much of an ego and lacks imagination.

The real casualty of an AAB-Dr.M peace is the same as those who have been marginalized by UMNO-BN rule all these years. Without Dr. M challenge, AAB will get a new lease on life and he will call for an early election, win enough to claim victory and NOTHING will change. That is the real tragedy..

Kasihan Mahathir! Setelah sekian lama bercakap besar, tiba-tiba terpaksa menyembah pada Pak Lah. Hanya sebab anak-anak Mahathir jadi terhina.

Mahathir hanya bak kata pepatah, kata dulang paku serpih. Dia hanya bagaikan luncai dengan labunya. Sungguh kasihan Mahathir !

The meeting is basically misery loves company. Both are lost at sea. One by the country and the other by his ppl. I agree with someone who said its wayang kulit. Just divert the attention from the EPU methodology, lower rankings in FDI, messed up education system and the brain drain with a meeting betw on tyrant of 22 yrs and one novice who sleeps during the day.

Sometime in the year 2000 we saw Mokhzani Mahathir & Loy's CEO son at the main entrance of the former MBF Finance building in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, they must be continuing a most interesting meeting to be in full view of the public. After sometime the rakyat experienced the most painful debacle & scam the nation has ever faced in it's 49 years of independence. Remember the illegal misuse of the rakyat's EPF money to help bail out TDM's sons's troubled companies?
