If Pak Lah resigns as PM who else can take over? I don't see any credible candidate in Barisan. Perhaps it's time to change this govt. We should consider PAS, their leader I was told lived a very modest lifestyle and quite unlikely to be involved in get-rich-quick scams. The question is are we non muslims prepared to change our lifestyle to effect a change in govt. If yes then you should know what to do come next GE.

I doubt i can find such a good read on the street where majority of the people dont hv access to the internet nor do they know of Msia-Today's existence. If Pak Lah wants to play dirty we can do one better.

ANything issue here if Pak Lah resigns he is admitting that he is guitly. IF he is guilty of such a crime, shoulnt he be dealt with accd to the law? No one shld be let off the hook lightly. Dont forget the amount of money involved is staggering. With such an amount I too can forego my position and enjoy the perks for eternity.

PAS? with their staunch stand of Islam faith, i don't think it would be able to work in a multi-religion country. Remember they tried to implement Hudud laws, which i find it difficult to digest if it's ever being implemented in Malaysia. I believe in the country's Rukun Negara.

1. Belief in God
2. Loyalty to King and Country
3. Supremacy of the Constitution.
4. The Rule of Law
5. Mutual respect and good social behaviour.

especially the 3rd one, which clearly states that Malaysia is a secular state but Mahathir and now the BN idiots have violated the Rukun Negara by claiming that Malaysia is an islamic state.

My love for Malaysia is slowly diminishing because of these individuals who are destroying the patriotism of most Malaysians in a fast pace. Yes, change the Government to one who understands not how Bangsa Malays, Bangsa Chinese or Bangsa Indians and etc feel but rather how Bangsa Malaysians feel.

Government is from the people, by the people and for the people... if there're no people to support.. the Government is nothing but an empty vessel that sound the loudest. Yes, we have a useless Government. It's time to change the animals in the zoo with real leaders in the Parliament.

You are wrong, Malaysia is an islamic country and not an islamic state.

Rukunegara No: 1 is Beilief in GOD. Pas should be the government because they obeyed rukunegara no: 1. That is why all malay said they are Muslim first then Malay and then Malaysian. This all make sense because rukunegara No: 2, loyalty to King and country. King make them a melayu and country make them a Malaysian. Supremacy of the Constitution is rukunegara no: 3. that is why they can change the costitution.

Rukunegara no: 4 is Rules of the Laws. so you can challenge them after you have obeyed No: 1 to 3. Lastly rukungeara no: 5 is Mutual respect and good social responsibilities. In other words, muhibbah come no: 5.

So the malay are correct and PAS is correct. Honestly, as a chinese malaysian, I will vote for PAS if General Election is held within the next three (3) months as I knew for a fact that they treated non-melayu well in Kelantan.

It time for a change, vote PAS and have a stronger Malaysia. PAS is more sincere. Islam is a way of life and nothing to be feared. Dont be paranoic about it. BN is to be feared because they can sell the country for $$$$$$

Jan must be the most stupid person on earth to assume that PAS will not corrupt if they take over power. If you take hint from Orwell's Animal Farm, obviously if the Pigs take control, they will change law such as "No animal shall drink alcohol" to become "No animal shall drink alcohol to excess" after their consolidation of power.

The idea is not only to find a new leader, but how do we the stakeholder can "monitor" the new PM, so that he doesnt corrupt after holding power?

Should Malaysia's PM be elected directly by the people?

Should we put online all of the PM's relatives and friends bank account balances?

Power is like a banana to the monkey. Can you ask the monkey to be the guardian of a bunch of bananas? We thought Dr. Mahathir is a beruk, so we get a siamang, Badawi to jaga the pisang. What if the next PM is a big orang utan with bigger appetite?
