Date Joined: 1st April 1990 ?DDate Dismissed: 6th April 2004 Dear Sirs/Madams, I have been working as a Medical Sales Rep. for the past 11 years 4 months. ( 01/04/1990 - August 2002) . Subsequently I was removed from my position and was demoted to the store. After all the umpteenth years of working relationship and friendship bond that we have, I always thought that whatever the cicumstances , we could always settle things amicablly and rationally. After numerous meetings and discussions with the Sales & HR Manager and The Managing Director himself, during my 1 year 8 months stint as a Storekeeper , (August 2002 - 6th April 2004), trying to reconcile and to work-out a solution for an amicable settlement for re-instatement to my former position but to no avail. I was told to leave the premises and that they don't require my services anymore on the 6th April 2004 , by The Managing Director.

Hello. Did they give you any specific explanation as to WHY they decided to do that? Did they put it in writing? Were you on a contract before and did it specify the reasons as to why you could be dismissed? Also - did you have such thing as a notice period?
