PRS is the Performing Rights Society and administers money from public performance of copyright works.

If your song is played in public, whether performed or off a recorded medium, you are due a performance royalty.

Those sheets are logs for the PRS, so they know what to pay out.

If, for instance, Terminus were to do a cover of 'Respectable' by Mel and Kim, the writers of that song would get some money...

P.S. It doesn't have to be recorded to count... We do PRS sheets for every gig...
