First of all, well done to 19 Stab Wounds... for getting of their arses and sending demos out. More than I can say for some bands I know.

Secondly - and the point of this post - I'd just like to point out that getting a demo review published in Rock Sound may not count as accolade to everyone. For instance, if one of my demos recieved praise from that magazine, I think i'd burn all my guitars, quit the band, cut out my tongue, and become a hermit on a mountain somewhere away from the injustice of the world.

What that basically means is, although some people may think getting into Rock Sound, or NME, or Kerrang, or any other music mag is great, and flattering, others may disregard it, and if anything, have their opinions turned further against the band in question.

Hmm, I didn't intend to ramble quite so much...

Rooney
