It's like my Grandma always says, "A place for everything, and everything in it's place."
Music is art, and every type of art has a place. The way i see it is some purley exist to stregnthen other types in other peoples views.
Obviously everyone has their prefered style and there no denying that, but if you say that a cirten style is worth playing and listrning to, and any variation, experimentation or otherwise personal interpritation is not even woth giving the time of day, then that opinion is rather obstinate.
Thats like saying you wont speak to someone because you dont agree with their belifes, their interprtation of religion. i might even go as far to compare it to racial descrimation.
either way its predjustist and dcriminate and you shouldnt just discary it as rubbish because it doesnt conform to your personal views on how "it should be".
at the end of the day if there wasnt something different, if every peice of music was the same you wouldnt like music would you, its like hey im not crazy about cardboard, because to me its al lthe same, but if you really get into it you can noticee all the differnt textures and variations and what makes up the cardboard, its the same with musc.
so if you claim to be into music then dont even thinking about discarding a cirten type as pointless, everything has a meaning and if your going to get into something such as music, then be prepared to embrace all its colours and spices, for thats what makes up a true characture and true definition.
this isnt just about my band or me by the way, so dont think im acting like im better than anybody, because im not, im simply expressing my opinion on a deep matter, which its so easy to throw punches at but if you really wanna think about it you can, its you chioce, but for heavens sake dont pretend you are something your not, if you wanna jump on a band waggon, thats fine with me, but if you wanna pretend and throw punches from a distance, hiding behind the majority and conformity, thats fine too, it just makes the alterate stronger.
and remember this people do what you want, it doesnt matter, express yourself how you want to someone will relate and grow stronger as a result. if you can make a difference to noe person, then it will make all the difference to you.
