 in our old house, there used to be a smell that could only be spelt by one person at any time in the house, but was always the same smell. i am aware of the cold spots too bryan as they were in our old house, in random places even during sumemr.. we had heard rhumars that the house's alley was sinking due to a exit tunnel for the st' mary at latton church (dunno if thats right name but one by old cycle museum.
while we are on the subject, i take it you have read the great book of the enfield poulterguist, some cracking conversations noted towards the end!
