The best punk band is an irrelavence anyway as anyone whose been to more than 2 gigs in their life (and the square does not count) will know that heavy metal is the true live rock genre. Metallica, Maiden, Slayer, Anthrax, Machine Head ... they annihilate live performances of any other bands - they've been doing it longer. Punk is for ugly little girls now and none of us are old enough to have been around when being a punk actually meant anything - now it's just the clothes you wear.
