We attended the pageant and my daughter courted in everything so she left happy but the best story happened on Tuesday after the pageant. After reading all this I would love to share it :) On Tuesday we went to the beach and I had bought boogie boards and sand toys to make sand castles. As we were sitting there we started watching an obviously poor family with four or five children. They were playing with an old faded, broken sand pail and a kitchen colander. My daughter looked at me and said "we should give them these toys" so we went over and gave them the toys. They children were extremely happy and as the mother was thanking us she began to cry. We spend thousands on our children each pageant and these people were happy with a $5.00 toy. I just wanted to remind everyone what is really important. :)
