Hi I am new to CT and wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I heard that a lot of CT kids are models and got in because of CT. Can someone tell me how to do thus now that my daughter won? Thank you

You can do this whether your daughter won, or not. Talk with some of the moms at crowning and events for more info. Basically, though, you just need to submit your daughters pictures to reputable agencies. You can look them up on line through SAG.com. I can't remember off hand how to navigate the site, but you are looking for 'find an agent.' Each agency has different guidelines for submissions. Some accept submissions on line. Others will only take mailed-in submissions. Submit clear, natural photos that help depict your child's personality. It is always good to send in different photos with different looks. Don't send in 2 photos where your child is in the same hairstyle, the same color clothing, the same smile, etc. Most will ask for a headshot and a full body photo.
Remember, different agencies are looking for different things. It has nothing to do with whether your child is pretty enough, or not. Don't get discouraged, and make sure it is something that your child wants to do. They won't be good at it if they don't want to do it.
Good luck!

Thank you for the information. I thought that CT gave you kind of a way into the entertainment world. At least that is what I was told. Didnt a lot of kids get into it because of this pageant? Do I tell them my child won at CT?

Agents actually prefer you don't do pageants because they think you are the type of mom to push your kids too much and as for the pictures they must be really natural and absolutely no make up and not in any type of attire like say country wear or posed swimsuit picture. These are words from our agent's mouth not mine.

I really don't think you have any advantage for modeling/acting by doing pageants. A lot of agents really hate it if you mention that you do pageants at all, so it's best not to mention it when you try to meet with agents.

Not one child that has done a Hawaiian Tropic pageant or California Tropic pageant ever got pick up from doing either one of these pageants.
All the parents I know have all gone on their own and got their own ageant.

They will however use your child and make it seem as if they were discoverd through them.
