The 12th Annual Easter pageant will be held Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. The pageant is a benefit that is held each year to benefit Children�s Hospital Volunteers of Oklahoma. Girls ages 0-19 years and boys ages 0-6, from all over the state and beyond are invited to participate. Everyone is welcome to participate. There is no experience needed. Entry deadline is Wed., March 21.

Our Diamond Miss Youth Achievement hosts the pageant. Local hostess for the event is Kourtni Beebe, 18, a senior at Norman High School. Kourtni is the reining Oklahoma State Elegant Miss Modeling, which she won last June. The pageant collects new toys for Children�s Hospital Volunteers of Oklahoma, the group responsible for distribution of donations for Children�s Hospital. Each week a child get�s to take a toy from the "toy cart" during their stay at the hospital. The new toy donations are greatly appreciated.

The age Divisions are: Girls: 0-12 months, 13-24 months, 25-35 months, 3-5 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-19 years old. Boys age divisions are: 0-12 months, 13-24 months, 25-35 months and 3-6 years old. All children compete the age they are the day of the pageant. There will be 2 Overall Easter Queens crowned and one Overall Easter King crowned; one fom the 0-35 months girls, one from the age 3 and up girls and one from the 0-6 age boys. The winners will be determined by the contestant who has the highest scores in the Easter Fashion, Most Beautiful or Handsome and Most Photogenic categories. The 3 overall winners will receive a 3� Easter trophy, overall crown and a supreme banner. There will also be a an overall winner crowned in each age division. This is the contestant with the highest combined scores of Easter fashion, photogenic and most beautiful/handsome in their age group. The age division supreme winners will receive a division supreme crown, banner and an Easter Trophy. Each age division will also crown an Easter fashion Queen or King, a most photogenic and a most beautiful/handsome. All contestants will receive an Easter Pageant Trophy.

Children will wear their Easter fashion for the pageant and need to bring a photogenic picture which will be returned immediately following the pageant.
