Date Posted: 1/06/08 11:36:10 PRESS RELEASE : The Central Wales Auto Club – Knighton are delighted to be hosting Round 5 of the Metzeler ACU British Enduro Championship over the weekend 20th & 21st September 2008. The entry will be limited to a maximum entry of 180 riders. The event will start and finish in Knighton on both Saturday and Sunday, hopefully if all goes to plan in the old Benson’sYard, with two special tests between Knighton and the Radnor Forest, which is where the majority of the event mileage will take place. Total lap mileage is expected to be approx 30-35 miles, still to be confirmed as yet. We are still in discussion with local farmers/landowners to secure various parts of farm land/tracks to hopefully use as tests and fuel areas. The club is also preparing just over a six mile course in Radnor Forest for a Hare and Hounds event on Sunday 8th June and to date has a very disappointing entry of less than a dozen. The closing date is 30th May 2008. We need to secure an entry of at least 40 riders to enable this event to go ahead by this date. Regs available here.
