Subject: MAO PRESS RELEASE...

We have just been notified by CMT that they do not wish to continue their relationship with The Miss America Organization. Despite the wonderful ratings, and demographic success, they are moving in a new direction in terms of their programming. While no reason was given to us, we are assuming that although the 2006 and 2007 Miss America Pageants were the highest rated shows in the network's history, the cost of the pageant production and telecast had become too much for them to handle. We are excited about using the positive results that we have received the past two years and now look forward to discovering a new television partner for our 2008 Pageant that will continue into the future. We have already had several networks call to inquire about our availability and interest in making a change in networks. We are also pleased to announce that Emmy Award winning television producer, Don Mischer and his production associates Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare, have agreed to join us again for next year's telecast, and they will be a part of the presentation that we will be making to our new network partner. In addition, Mario Lopez and his representatives have called us to tell us that Mario would like to return as our Host in 2008! We are also excited about a proposal that we have received from the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood Resort, about a deal that would enable MAO to continue producing our pageant finals in Las Vegas for the next several years.
