Date Posted: 21:30:07 01/05/07 Fri the outstanding Astoria High School Dance Team Pizazz, three time State Champions, will hold their annual clinic for "prospective Pizazz members of the Future"...at the AHS gym on Saturday January 27th at 9:30 am to 11am...the participants learn a dance routine which they will perform at a home AHS basketball game (half-time)...with the Pizazz team...the children ages 4 to 13 are invited to attend with a fee of 20.00...which includes a Pizazz tee shirt...the event helps provide funds for the Pizazz team attend the State Championships in March...it is amazing to note, that many of the current Pizazz members attended this clinic when they were younger...it is a fun, inspirational, learning activity...parents are invited to bring video cameras to record the memory making event, the "show and tell" is presented at 11 am, that very day, and includes a special performance for all, by the Pizazz team....register now by calling 738-5983 or 861-1971...and speak to the coach of Pizazz, Jeanne Peterson., or one of the team members.....this years captains are Karlee Johnson and Anthony Kustura.
