The Astoria High School Dance Team "Pizazz", will host a dance team competition on Saturday February 17th, in the Astoria High School gymnasium.....this is a sanctioned competition and will feature the National Champions University of Oregon Dance Team, and the following high school teams...Estacada, St. Helen's, Valley Catholic, Wilson, Franklin, Westside, Hermiston, Seaside, and Astoria...Judges are from the Dance and Drill Coaches Association, announcer will be Dan Foss, there will concessions by the AYA parents, gift table, and a Grand March of the teams at the second round...the day consists of the first round beginning at 1pm, and the second round at 5pm....admission is students, with card, 3.00 for one round, or 5.00 for two rounds....adults are 5.00 one roundor 8.00 for both....don't miss this colorful, fun event...come support dance teams and enjoy all of the talented, spirited dancers from these high schools....further information, call Pizazz coach, Jeanne Peterson, or senior Kylie Toftemark, who is organizing this event for her senior project. 503 738-5983.
