Everyone is invited to the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper February 20th from 5:00-6:30 pm at Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 Franklin Ave., Astoria. 325-4691. Some people call this day as "Fat Tuesday". The pancake supper features ham, spiced applesauce, all-you-can-eat pancakes. Prices have not gone up in 12 years and are still $4.00 for adults, 1.50 for children 6-12 (under 6 are free)or $10.00 for a family of up to 2 adults and 4 children. Shrove Tuesday is the last day before Lent start.
