You won't have to wonder if you would sit down and put yourself in these peoples place. IT isn't SO horrific. It is just a trance. When my son was very young, the guys would tease each other by visiting chat rooms and pretending to be a gal who "wants" them or whatever...then they would all go to the selected spot and LAUGH and have a joyful time, like, "THE jokes on you!!" When they are typing to someone, reality is NOT in their minds. My own son was arrested for this. HE WAS so shocked that the police wouldn't believe him. HE ACTUALLY wanted to see if this person was real. HE had never seen TO CATCH A PREDITOR. HE WAS ON AN ADULT SITE, he THOUGHT you had to be an adult to be on it and that the person was just lying, as he was. BEING ARROGANT and naive. But, not so. NOW, he will suffer for the rest of his life. YOu are saying..OH NO HE IS A PERVERT...wrong...I bet you have lied many times during chat conversations. YOu have been wonderful, happy, perfect, whatever. IT ISN"T REAL. BUT, in this case, and many others...reality is gone, temporarily. My son has worked at a very responsible job for 20 years. IT DOESN'T make sense and is not logical to think that after all this time, NOT ONE PERSON, or OFF BEAT behaviror has taken place. IT IS THE fact that you are not in the real world when you are typing, you are an imaginary person...not even YOU realize how bad it is, until you are abruptly shocked by something like this! I feel so sorry for people who are labeled after ONE mistake ON THE NET! THey didn't touch anyone...THEY WERE TRAPPED>
