What's stupid is thinking that you'll make your point by telling the other person that he's stupid without pointing to anything that tells him that he's wrong.

You must like pit bulls. I would guess that you have some statistics that show how gentle they are... Maybe some nice news clips showing a pitbull saving a baby that fell in a swimming pool...
