you don't have to be important or have anything really valuable to want your home protected.That's asanine to even say.Vicious dogs are many times owned by criminals and are a product of abuse or neglect not desine.There are many breeds that are protective not vicious (apparently you'll never have a clue as to the difference)that through alot of love and attention will naturally not allow strangers on your property.Because that is their home.And anyone they don't know is considered a threat.And exactlly how do you think an animal of any kind protects it's self or it's family?The only way it can.Is that vicious?no.And by the way those properly trained dogs by highly trained people have been known to tear people up.They have been known to get to excited and not listen.A police dog tore up my niece's face.He was highly trained.It was a freak accident.Was he doing his job?no.Was it a rottie or a pitt?no.There goes what you know about properly trained guard dogs.Sorry.Do I still think they should be allowed?Absolutely.Because guess what,people are unpredictable and dangerous to.Right down my road an old,disabled man that lived in a shack of a house was killed by a young guy looking for money.He wasn't important,he had nothing valuable.But if he had my dog,he could've gotten to a phone.And for your statements again on properly trained dogs,they don't tear,they hold,you saw a training session.Ask anyone that's been bitten by one.It'll be a whole diff. story.And almost forgot,the vicious criminal dogs,if you look at all the pitt accidents the victim was provoking or the criminal was a dog fighter.Those are the dogs you should be worried about.You want to gripe about something and make such a case for new laws,how about animal cruelty?Because that is the main problem.You abuse an animal you get a fine and no one cares.That is even a worse problem.But you don't care do you?Because pitts are the problem not the abusers.
