Subject: pushed enter by accident.anyways,I have no problem with pitts or any other kind of dog.My mother rescues abused pitts.She has 12-15 maybe.Each is contained.None are violent.c/i

She lives in a nieghborhood with kids all over.There has never been a problem.She's never even had a complaint.And it's never impossible for any innocent child to be harmed by any animal.But kids are killed by playmates,cars,parents,lawnmowers more than by dogs.You know that I think you just like argueing.That's okay though it's intelligent conversation.You really need to learn more about animals though.My dog was not trained to bite.He lives in the house and when we go out and won't be back in time to take him out he goes in his pen.I caught a nieghbore kid in my yard several times throwing things at him,yelling,growling and threatening him.Her mother watching the whole time.When I say don't do that he might get upset and bite,you know what she says,we'll sue you.nice huh?Where's the laws protecting me or my dog?If he had the chance to bite her she provoked it,but he would pay the price for just being a dog.Once you're a threat,you're always a threat.So I take precautions to protect him.He loves my kids.But he does not like strangers.That's not my fault or his.You know what,I feel safe in my home at night.My kids are safe in my yard with him.Do you think anyone could snatch them with him?No way.He's only bitten once and it was warrented,he did not get in trouble,and he bit and held.Did he hurt anyone,a little.Bruises and puncture wounds.He held and was not trained.That's the difference between a vicious and protective biting dog.I think that there should be a few more laws on how you have to contain dogs for everyones protection and then there should be laws protecting the dog and the owner to.
