With their established and experienced staff, radiotakeover.com is poised to fill the void left by Vivendi's decision to discontinue operations and delete the contents of MP3.com. "The largest collection of digital works ever assembled" said MP3.com founder and former CEO Mike Robertson, the loss of this online content would send shockwaves throughout the music community.

radiotakeover.com is offering the same services to the many up-and-coming artists. Legitimate artists will be able to upload their music and make it available to their fans worldwide. Artists can post their music online free of charge. Music uploaded will be available for download or streaming. Unlike MP3.com, artists can also simply mail a copy of their release to //radiotakeover and it will be available for download and/or streaming. Additionally, each artist is also provided a personalized URL that directs visitors to that artists' content (ex: radiotakeover.com/bandnamehere).
