JOSH TODD SET TO RELEASE ‘YOU MADE ME’
DEBUT ALBUM ON MARCH 9;
TOUR LAUNCHES FEBRUARY 11
IN TALLAHASSEE, FL

February 4, 2004 -- Look for Josh Todd (former singer of Buckcherry) and his new band simply called JOSH TODD--Josh (vocals), Jesse Logan (guitars), Mike Hewitt (guitars), Mark John (bass) and Kent Ross (drums)—to release their highly anticipated debut album, YOU MADE ME, March 9 through a partnership between TODD Entertainment, LLC. and XSRecords. It’s being distributed by the Navarre Corporation.

YOU MADE ME was produced by Chris Johnson (Evanescence, Masters of Reality) and mixed by Rob Chiarelli (Madonna, Public Enemy).

The first single, “Shine,” was already a “Most Added” at Active Rock radio stations across the country its first two weeks out. A video for the song was recently shot in Los Angeles and can be seen on Launch.Yahoo.com.

Radio program directors and journalists are speaking out about the early success and their adoration of “Shine.” In a live review of a recent performance at the Whisky in Los Angeles, John Lenac of Hits raved: “Every week, I hear many of my record and radio friends complain about the lack of true rock stars to help drive bodies into record stores and attract more time spent tuning into the airwaves. Last night, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of them rocking the Whisky stage. Josh Todd (former Buckcherry singer) was simply amazing from the moment he came down the stairs until the crowd finally stopped freaking out after he belted out the single, ‘Shine,’ to close the set. His band (whom he found when he answered an ad from a group looking for a singer!) kicked ass as well.”

While Adam Neiman of Music Choice exclaimed, “Josh Todd’s ‘Shine’ is the wakeup call my playlist has been waiting for. We need more ROCK records like this.”

And Anthony “ChaChi” Siscar, PD at WZZN-FM in West Palm Beach, FL chimed in: “First time I saw him, I liked him. The second time, I loved him. The third time, I wanted to be him.”

JOSH TODD came together in June 2002 after Jesse, Mike, Mark and Kent moved to Los Angeles from Salt Lake City and were basically living out of their cars. Upon their arrival, they started searching for a lead singer and lucky for them, they didn’t have to wait long for the break they’d been hoping for. Little did they know, they’d soon be fronted by one of rock’s true stars.

As Josh explains, “I was looking for a band. One that was hungry and willing to take a bullet for the cause. One day, while reading a local L.A. music magazine, I came across a classified ad for a band looking for a singer. I don’t know what it was, but something made me call.” Within a few days, he was in a rehearsal room working on songs with his new band. The bond was immediate and now they’re ready to bring YOU MADE ME to the masses.

As the frontman of Buckcherry, the band sold over one million records worldwide, had a #1 Billboard hit with “Lit Up,” and was nominated for a Grammy® Award. Buckcherry had the grand opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of thousands of music fans around the world at Woodstock ’99, both the Reading and Leeds Festivals in Europe, and as the supporting act on tours by AC/DC, Aerosmith, KISS and Rob Zombie, among many others.

In touring news, JOSH TODD is wasting no time taking their music to the road. A U.S. headlining tour is set to launch February 11 in Tallahassee, FL at the Beta Bar. More dates are currently being confirmed and will be announced in the coming weeks.

Before the tour takes off, JOSH TODD will perform at a record release party to be held on February 5 at Cinespace in Hollywood, CA, which will be sponsored by Rock & Republic (the clothing line recently profiled on the cover of Billboard magazine), Razor magazine and Rushh.
