Hi all. Our house was burglarized on Tuesday, July 22nd at about
1:30 p.m. Luckily no person was in the house at the time. Melrose
was there, but it doesn't look like he was physically harmed...he
just literally had the poop scared out of him. Our alarm went off as
soon as the guy kicked the door in, so luckily it was a quick job,
as the police were on their way. He did take off with four of Jeff's
guitars, though. If you know Jeff at all, you know that music is
everything to him, and he is pretty distraught over this whole
incident, as am I.
A construction worker nearby said he saw a Caucasian man with
curly/wavy dark hair that was kind of long (somewhere between his
ears and shoulders), thin but slightly muscular build walking from
our home westward and then disappearing out of his sight. The man
was carrying four guitars, which is exactly what we're missing. The
man's age is unknown, as the construction worker was not that close.
The following are descriptions of the missing guitars.
1971 Fender Telecaster with Blonde finish
Classic Re-issue Gibson Les Paul with cherry finish
1963 Gibson Melody Maker with cherry finish
Danelectro Baritone--orange sunburst finish with EMG pick-ups
If anyone has ANY leads whatsoever, please let us know ASAP. Please
call us or email us at jeff_ravinder@yahoo.com We're keeping an eye
on local pawn shops, EBay, garage sales, other advertisements, and
of course, guys who fit the description above.
I'm sure you know what a feeling of violation it is to have someone
break into your home, and I'm hoping someone will have the lead we
need to get the guitars back. That's all we really want. And if
anyone knows a good door installer, that would help too!
I apologize if you've received this email more than once...we really
want this to get out and aren't checking for duplicate addresses. If
you have a website or a place where you can spread the word, we'd
appreciate your help!
