David Bowie's 26th studio album, Reality, arrives in stores everywhere September 16th! The follow-up to his 2002 critically acclaimed, million-selling Columbia debut, Heathen, Reality features nine new Bowie compositions, plus two cover versions -- "Pablo Picasso,' written by Jonathan Richman and originally recorded by The Modern Lovers, and "Try Some, Buy Some" by George Harrison. Reality was co-produced by Bowie and his legendary helmsman Tony Visconti. The two, who re-teamed for last year's Heathen release, have collaborated on some of Bowie's most successful releases, including Young Americans, Heroes, and Scary Monsters. This new album features the highly acclaimed band that performed on last year's Heathen mini-tour, including long-time Bowie musicians such as vocalist Gail Ann Dorsey, pianist Mike Garson, drummer Sterling Campbell and guitarists Earl Slick and Gerry Leonard. Visconti added bass, and Bowie played keys, guitar and sax.

To coincide with the release of Reality, Bowie has announced his first world tour in almost a decade. Launching in Europe first, (October 7th in Copenhagen), "A Reality Tour" will play to more than one million people while visiting 17 countries over a seven month period. The tour, which has already sold out in Europe, will hit the States in late 2003.
