Kin Za Za Shares Aurora Awards Winning Videos Through CD - Bonus DVD Limited Edition Release

Ambient-World, pop duo grab 5 awards, including 4 Platinum Best Of Show

Kin Za Za, Ambient-World, pop duo from Montreal Canada, released their Limited Edition CD - Bonus DVD album debut "Number One in Shambala" this month. In addition to the 12 song CD released earlier this year, the bonus DVD features nine music videos, five of which were awarded 2003 Aurora Awards that recognizes individuals in the film and video industries.

In addition to GOLD AWARD winner "The River," which was a selection of the Independent Music Video Festival, the DVD features 4 PLATINUM BEST OF SHOW Aurora Award winning videos, including:

* Endless Freedom - about memories, transformation and all sorts of other illusions. Raw and simple, the video incorporates fluctuations of acoustic guitar between Slavic/Celtic folk and very light Electro Jazz layered with trip-hop beats, abstract flamenco step dancing, occasional sitar notes, string arrangements, non-musical samples and omni-present female vocals.

* Black Bird - inspired by an odd dream of an awesome black bird was trying to break out of a cage. "Feathers were flying everywhere. They looked like very strange 3-D writings projected into empty space. I was drifting backwards between those feather-like letters. Drifting towards this cage. Very slowly..."

* When You Arrive - Baroque-action symphony, taking place amidst flying cellos, remnants of sunken ships, and pagan night ghosts. A vision of sunset golden hues, swallowed by the silver smoke of night ecstasy.

* Somewhere (Music and video by Kin Za Za) - Focuses the first stage of sleep, the alpha stage that last just three minutes, accompanied by a sort of dreamy, smooth ballad.

"The trippy atmospheres and lyrical images ("The River," "I Am a Dance") conjure up images that connect the heart and mind to life and the universe-and the tracks flow effortlessly into a cool aggressive ambience," noted Jonathan Widran with All Music Guide. "Tracks like "Endless Freedom" combine folk like simplicity with modern synth textures, while others like "When You Arrive" are pure, intimate new age inspiration, with Jozy's vocal textures slightly reminiscent of Sarah McLachlan."
