Hi Bird,

Sorry you have to do a "Wilma do-over". West Palm is nice, I'm sure your SO's family is happy there. I talked to some travel agency friends in Boca Raton yesterday and they say they got hit pretty bad by Wilma and were planning a Sanibel escape themselves soon.

Anyway, you should like Sanibel in mid-December, it's quieter and the lights of the Holidays are wonderful. Gulf temps then are around 70-71 degrees and air temp highs around 76 with lows in the mid 50's.

There's some good fishing during that time, Grouper etc. but not Tarpon. If you have more specific fishing questions you can ask an associate of mine, Capt. Rob at soulmatecharters.com.
