The nights have been chilly on the island. The days start to warm up ( beach wise) around 10:30 or so and you can last til around 4 before the chill starts in. If there is no wind you will be fine, otherwise an umbrella (anchored sideways in the sand) will be a great help.
You will all need sweaters for the evenings and sometimes early morn. I would suggest a hat for you know who in case the winds are up & the sand is blowing. Either way it will certainly be warmer than the cold here up North! I leave for Sanibel again on the 28th and it cannot come soon enough!
