I haven't stayed at Sandpiper but have stayed at The Signal Inn next door. Sandpiper looks nice and quiet. You might also like the SIgnal Inn. Its very small and has been quiet when we've been there (April) even if there were a few families w/kids there. Pointe De Santo would not be for me nor is the Sundial. For us, those resorts are exactly what we don't want in San/cap. They're loud, busy and just way too many people around for our taste. Kind of "skyriseish" too. There are many smaller resorts/accomdations and we feel they give you the best of San/cap.
