I've done Sanible with babies and toddlers. Its as easy as anywhere else. But I will admit, now that our kids are a little older (K & pre-school), its a lot easier. Babies and traveling/vacationing are just plain tough. You don't get a break and get to relax.

Any chance you have a grandparent or nanny to take with you? We began bringing my mom once we added the second child and it was a huge help. As my mom said to me during one of the trips, "It takes all three of us for two of them!" My mom isn't into helping regularly here at home but she enjoyed Sanibel so she was into it!
