We too were introduced to Sanibel many years ago with a stay at the Holiday Inn after a week in Orlando. We've made a point of returning at least once a year since that time and it never gets old. Our time in Sanibel is rejuvenating! I'm looking forward to my next visit beginning on August 26th for one week. It will be filled with early morning walks on the beach, picnic lunches and visits to our favorite restaurants.
