Stayed at Loggerhead many years ago & it was very nice but adult oriented. There was an adult swim twice each day and no children were allowed in the pool area. It may have changed over the years & gotten child friendly but back then there was no ball playing in the courtyard or loud voices tolerated. After a few years we settled elsewhere!
BTW...
I have beachside bungalow for rent if you should be interested & I do allow small pets.
