Yup, it amazes me how prices have gone up on San/Cap in the past few years. I don't see any "deals" or reasonable rates in light of the economy. So, our family is going to Disney. Disney is offering many price reductrions and incentives to vacation there and it is much cheaper to fly into Orlando than Ft. Myers. Our kids are 6 & 9 so this will suit them well.

I can only assume the island is catering to the super-elite and they don't want our business. The last time we were there the beach was loaded with red tide and the island was a wide open mess from Charlie.
