About the video clip that I’ve watched:
This video clip is about the question “Why I don’t always feel the presence of God?” actually, there are so many questions on the first part of the video but the pastor on the video just give more highlights on the question “Why I don’t always feel the presence of God”. And according to him there are some reasons behind it. These are the following:
1. That maybe, you are over-sensationalizing it.
2. That maybe, your heart has hardened.
3. That maybe you haven’t been obedient.
4. Lastly, maybe you’ve built a wall of sin.

Scriptures in the video clip:
1. From John 6:29-30

Jesus answered, “ the work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent” so they asked him, what miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it or believe you?
What will you do…?

2. From Matthew 13:14-15

You will be ever hearing but never understanding.
You will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people ‘s heart has become calloused, they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.

3. From John 14:21

Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.

4. From Isaiah 59:1-2

Listen! The Lord is not too weak to save you, and he is not becoming deaf. He can hear you when you call. But there is a problem – your sins have cut you off from God.

In Rick Warren’s book, “Purpose driven life” chapter 1 entitled “It all started with God” said that “if you want to know why you were placed in this planet, you must begin with God.”
Scripture that can be applied:
“For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible… everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.”
- Colossians 1:16

In connection with the video clip that I’ve watched, if you’ll only seek God, then you’ll find him and therefore you’ll be able to know your purpose in life.

Scriptures that can be applied:
“ When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.
-Jeremiah 29:13-14
“ For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”

And because we are willingly and wholeheartedly seeking for God through reading the bible, sooner or later on, God will reveal himself to us.
I’ve heard also the pastor speaking in the video clip telling that God loves to reveal himself to us and so we must not be afraid to know and seek him.

Sometimes, it is the people’s fault too why we don’t feel God. The answer to this was already written above, the one according to the Pastor in the video clip.

We must remember, “God is love”. He created us because he wants us to experience his love.

“ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”
John 14:16-17

This passage, which I got from the video clip, and for me, means that God really loves us so much that, he gave every each of us a Counselor -the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit resides on every believer, and will never leave us rather stay with us forever, so therefore even though we don’t feel God always, there is still a Holy Spirit who will help us to choose the right path in our life.
