REACTION ,FEELINGS & SOME POINTS about the movie we’ve watch last Friday, September 8, 2006:

As we watch the movie, we felt merciful and miserable to what Armand, one called as “born bading”, experienced.

He was treated so badly by his father and was said to be tolerated of being a gay by her mother, insisting that Armand just want to entertain her by singing and acting just like a woman. Armand was punished by his father in a belt-hit manner.

His father embitters him for what he’s showing to the public.

A scene was also shown in the movie, where in Armand experienced sexual harassment by his Uncle Nestor when his uncle saw him newly bath and was the only one left in their house since his parents went to work. (this part was suspense and we also feel pity to Armand for what he experienced during this scene)

Now, Armand struggle for who he is, if it’s true that he was born gay, so he ask the guidance of the Lord and try to know him thru Sister Beth but still cannot change and forget his past life…

He sometimes thought of being with Mark, the man whom he develop a sexual relationship with, and thinks of nasty things.

In the end, Armand regret the fact that he’s a gay, ask himself who to blame about this matter, and even ask God if he was mistakenly made, Eve trap in Adam’s body.

And he was able to BLAME everyone, perhaps his parents, uncle & relatives, himself and even GOD, for what is his state and situation by now…

After watching the movie and meeting with our group mates to do some sharing of ideas, we’ve all agreed in one idea told by the bible in “Genesis 1:27” - the passage said,

“So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.”

y so this means that there are no other gender that are Lord God have created during the time he created us. It is clearly stated at Genesis 1:27 that God only created 2 gender: MALE and FEMALE, and there’s no such homosexuals: GAY AND LESBIAN.

No one knows why some people are heterosexual while others are homosexual. But much of the present studies indicate that homosexuality may result from a combination of physical and psychological factors. Everyone, regardless of his/her sexual orientation, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and without discrimination.

As we grow up, the people around us and things we often see, hear and read influence our sexuality to a large extent.

A passage that I’ve found on the bible about homosexuality:

“9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”

See the disadvantage of being a homosexual??? Most of the homosexuals enjoy pleasure within their body but they are not permitted to inherit God’s kingdom and he who commits sexual immorality sins against his body. We should bear in mind that our body is a living temple and we must honor and respect it no matter what.

Try to think of this:

We people are created in God’s image and with his full wisdom.

Do we realize that we are the greatest creation of God?? Because he gives us more privileges than the other things he created..

And do we realize that by not accepting our own image, we will just bring insult to God since we rejected his wisdom in creating us??

In this movie, we have learned that no one is born homosexual. It is just dependent on what kind of environment a certain person resides. No one is to be blame except for the EVIL that roams in one’s mind because it contributes to the implantation of bad habits and wrong ideas in one’s body.

We’ve also learned to be honest and tell only the truth whatever happens since lies lie on one’s mind to guide or corrupt it unconsciously.

Biblical Values taught by the contents of the video CD:

1. There’s no such gender like GAY and LESBIAN created by God.

2. Do not lie.

3. Flee yourself from sexual immorality.
