I also am approaching 2 years sober and I am having the life I wish I would have always had. No things are not even close to perfect, my Dad passed away in June and just every day life circumstances occur but I find that I can handle them now way better than I could when I was drinking. I still do not miss anything about drinking and often go long periods of time without even thinking about it. To anyone who has recently or is considering quitting their addiction SS is the way to go. Hope everyone out there is doing well and congrats Nanette on the not smoking it is on my list of things to do also.Take Care Tammy
