Hope life is going well for you, and I wish I could see you guys here locally more often.
This last weekend was the first annual Schick-Shadel Foundation fund raiser dinner, and the turnout was great! :) There was both a silent auction and regular auction, and my favorite item that went (that I didn't win but wanted really badly) was a stained glass "Duffy's" window piece. It was great!
I've been going to Wednesday night meetings and they've been *very* well attended by both patients and graduates... we run out of chairs every week. The pool table down there has been replaced with a ping pong table that sees a lot more action than the pool table did - I've played on it with a patient, myself. *grin*
I got myself a guitar recently and have had a lot of fun getting my skills and finger calluses back into shape. You know how it is, filling my newfound "extra" time, I'm enjoying getting back into the music that was such a part of my life before. :)
I'm also putting together a Duffy's Diner Charity Cookbook! More on that in future messages. :)
