That's honestly one of those parts that I'll have to either edit out or add to later on. (Probably add to. I'd rather have the unsettling act of Jeremy spitting food into a bag or something while he's talking)



I don't think that I really considered the idea of vampires actually 'missing' the taste of food until later chapters when Tiana's Sun Quest and Jenna's love of chili dogs comes into play. I loved the idea of vampires still having this addictive attachment to their previous lives. I mean, drinking blood is fine for 'survival'...but even if it's just a matter of someone turning vegetarian...who WOULDN'T miss the taste of a double cheeseburger, or a plate of hot pasta, or maybe just a thin slice of cheescake?



Weird thing is, I didn't really have that in mind until after the scene with Jeremy was already written. So..um...strategically 'ignore' that part for now, and I'll fix it up when the ultimate 'Re-VAMPed' edition is made available! ::Grins::
