I just tried using an firefox addon "Downloadhelper 4.8", and that worked on the first video I came across.

For the most difficult tutorials etc that I have come across that cannot be downloaded or copied, I use "Camtasia Studio" and simply copy what is showing on the screen and then convert the movies etc, to any format you want.
