i suppose some enjoy that sort of thing but i'm just not used to it.

and i do agree that there is no evidence of anything malicious about the net hits. only that it does it without knowledge or permission. and i doubt that you personally allow many call home programs on your system tho.

and for deny.de
i personally think the treatment there wasn't quite justice.

tho it's understandable why hidden connectors on the computers of people from deny.de would tend to be upsetting to them to say the least.

i did use AD a few times and is a well coded program and worked well, but the port monitor was getting those hits and that's why i switched to sentry.

i also have nothing bad to say about AD or it's coder and believe it is innocently intended.....it was only that it was hidden. as you must have seen in my earlier post. i had nothing bad to say about either.

so

i think no offense was truly intended and we both agree to agree
