This is not the time for self importance to brag on how you visited him and his family. If the truth be known, you didn't visit for years, so you won't miss anything. If the truth be known, you weren't there for him in his last days or months any more than I was. If the truth be known, his wife didn't think to call you or look you up.....because?????

If you were such a close friend, you would be the one letting me know of his passing in a few days instead of me telling you a year later. If you want to claim the glory of visiting him and being that "tight" with him and his family, then take the responsibility for not being there for him and his family when they needed you. Come stand up here in shame with me....I promise not to bite. :D OR quit bragging about being something you were not.
