Deny closed due to changing laws in Germany, however a server move could have been an option (in fact, it possibly still is if you ask Martin nicely). Lack of both public and private time/interest ultimately killed it. Same goes for ICE. Slayer's "style" had been a frequent topic of debate at both boards' inner circles - and imo he definitely contributed to their demise. But the nr 1 reason remains the priv time/pub interest issue.
