Coz if you did then that will more than likely be the reason for the pirate copy message. I never give it access to the net, it's just as easy to wait for the next version, they seem to release then pretty fast, if it's getting on your nerves I suggest uninstalling it then make sure it hasn't left anything in your regedit file. Then re-boot if you haven't already and do a clean install, making sure you block the bugger from accessing the net.
