yeah,I am using 1.8 beta and used windows xp antispy to patch tcpip.sys net max half open at *80 im not sure what the problem could be,i tested mne last night and stayed steady at 200-300 k with no activity,if 1.7.5 was working well I would revert or maybe upgrade to 1.8 to see if it makes a difference
