Good Bye Mother Love or should I say Hippocrate !!! I was there at the creation of the core value lie fest.
Your current situation should teach you to treat staff with respect and back them unless their action was so egregious you can't justify it. Because it is these very people (CO's and CPO's alike) that are there every day doing their jobs, doing the right thing. Yet since you took over, you showed such wanton disregard for staff (especially CO's) and in turn created Chaos in the institutions and distracted everyone from the job at hand
"managing and housing INMATES".
So you finally got caught in the web of your own deceit, of course not against staff, but against the very group you hugged (remember your motto "hug not lug a thug").
Gee, soon to be EX-Commissioner doesn't sound like Responsible, Respectful, Honest and Caring to me.
The Globes excerpt --"She's saying they made a decision not even to say anything because they didn't think that I would be intelligent enough to understand. (lying to inmates-you should be in the naughty chair).
Remember Kathy to manage is to lead not to demean, de-moralize and humiliate those beneath you (line staff). For those are the one's that do the job.

Well I've vented long enough and will sleep better tonight knowing soon you won't be at the helm. Good luck to all staff and stay safe...........................
