I worked at the complex when you could bid from joint to joint. There were some good guys who decided to work at �diddler dome� because it was a case of the lesser of two evils. (The job sucks everywhere)
Most of the Officers I knew when I worked there and only wanted to do their 8 hours and go home.
Being a former CO, Sgt, Lt, Capt, I know that most of the Officers who still work there only want to do their 8 hours and go home.
You may have chosen to work a joint where you did not have use of force more than once or twice a year but it does not put you in a position to judge people who work another joint.
I have told people going to work for the DOC that you get no more money when you retire for working the shit jobs, so find the best place to land.
I also have personal experience with most of the tough guy inmates you mention here, every other joint they are PCs.
Hope the good guys make and enjoy their retirement.
