Subject: SARAH ROBERTS HULSEY

Recently, one of our distant Waggoner cousins requested a copy of a court case from the Georgia Archives. The case was entitled "The State of Texas vs. William and Sarah Hulsey," it was dated 1804 from Franklin CO, GA where we know they were living before migrating to Hall CO, GA. On the outside of the file pocket that the documents were filed in, next to the above name of Sarah as "Sarah Roberts," and then they scratched "Roberts" out and wrote in "Hulsey". The writer of the document obviously knew her before she was married and accidentally wrote down her maiden name. Nothing has ever been seen on the internet from anyone who does Hulsey research that knew her maiden name!!!! Now, hopefully, we can find out who her father was! This is very exciting news!
