Hello everyone!
So sorry about not replying. I have been so busy I almost forgot this website existed! Thank you Little John for your gracious offer. We may just take you up on it one day. If there is golf, Scott is interested! He shot is best ever 76 a few weeks ago, and has the ball proudly displayed. Considering last year he was in the low 90's that is pretty awesome.
We ran into a few snags with the construction of our home, however I brought up my issues to the attention of those who matter, had a meeting with the President of the company and all is well in TinaLand. Had to fire my first realtor and am interviewing realtors this week in order to put the house back on the market. Was pretty stressful for awhile there. No real vacation this year, just a few days trips. Went canoeing, hiking, played some pool and bowling, and just hung out in the back yard enjoying the hummingbirds and studied. I want to write my CCS credential in the new year. I currently hold two credentials in coding, but this is the big one that gets you the big bucks.
I have been helping World Relief again. This time we are setting up refugees families arriving in America. The most recent families are coming from the Congo and Mayanmar. One family waited 10 years in the Tyland refugee camp before arriving - can you believe that??? 4 of the 6 kids were born in the camp. What an amazing family - so absolutely grateful to be here. We set up the apartment last week for the Congolese family of 3 - what an amazing experience. There have been some very generous people donating pillows, clothes, dishes, microwaves, bedding, food, you name it. This tuesday we are setting up a family of 4 coming from Mayanmar - not sure how long they have been in Tyland waiting, but I am sure it was no picnic however long. One of my friends donated a skateboard with helmet and knee pads to give to Tayo the nine year old. How awesome is that? What a great way to meet new friends in the area.
I am so happy for Ricky! Well done on the job! Candace, hope all is great with you. Not overdoing it with the studies and life, I hope. Keep me posted on the baby news.
Have to run and finish my housework as my first realtor is coming tomorrow night. I want the house to be spotless
Cheers everyone!
Love Tina
