Welcome to this topic. If the person starting it wanted to hear from people whose #1 problem was their anatomy going into the Public sector, sounds as if you, too, had other things on your mind. I hope you've no lasting reminders of your adventure. I dented the steel dash of my late, lamented '64 Chevy-van with my knees in '84 and they still take turns reminding me what I did to them.

On my ride (a bit more recently) from where my clothes and my wife waited, across a hospital to a Retrograde Cysto with just a thin sheet and not much of a hospital garment--I was thinking about bailing out. Some woman pushing the gurney had some sort of issues & made it one foot-stomping, wall-bumping, door-banging ride, for no discernible reason. I'd have needed to hold the wall-rail with one hand & the IV-bag with the other if her driving had put me afoot. That gown was labeled my size but gapped at least the span of my shoulder-blades, so I'd have been hobbling along, barefoot up to there & no hands free for even a token cover-up, and so-sorry-but-not-my-idea. I don't know if she had a clue I was thinking just hit that next turn a wee bit harder. She didn't, and everyone else (as usual) was quite civil. The Nurse I woke up to was one of those instant-old-friends I'd never met until then. Best regards.
