The cost of this pageant is:
$25.00 for local level - this includes a certificate, embroidered sash, trophy and crown and your picture displayed on our website for the year of your reign. No public appearances are required - but we hope our queens will use their title to benefit their community by participating in parades or making appearances.
State Level- is $45.00 and again everyone gets a crown sash and trophy, the placement of the contestant determines the size of the awards

2009 FLORIDA LOCAL AMERICAN QUEEN TITLE HOLDERS SOUGHT
Palm Coast, FL, October 1, 2008 –The 2009 Florida State American Queen Pageant will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Sheraton Studio City Hotel in Orlando, FL.
Local titleholders are now being sought and appointed for city, town and county titles throughout the entire state of Florida to represent their areas in the state pageant. Local titles are being awarded based on residency in the following age divisions:
• “Junior-Teen”, ages 13-15
• “Teen”, ages 16-18
• “Miss”, ages 18-27
• “Ms.” Ages 28-60 (any marital status)
• “Mrs.” Ages 21-60, married a minimum of 6 months
The local titleholders who are selected will represent their cities/counties/towns as they compete at the Florida State American Queen Pageant in Orlando in the following judging categories: Interview (with a focus on Community Service), Fitness, and Evening Gown Presentation. There is no talent competition and no height or weight requirement.
At the state pageant, Florida State American Queen Title holders in each age division will be crowned for 2009. The 2009 Florida State American Queen Title Holders will represent Florida at the 7th Annual National American Queen Pageant in August of 2009 along with state title holders from all over the United States.
American Queen Titleholders dedicate a great deal of their time during their year of service focusing on the prevention of Domestic Violence among women. The American Queen Pageant is a major fundraising event for The D.A.S.H. Foundation, Inc. (Domestic Abuse Stops Here). The Dash Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence through early education. For more information on The D.A.S.H. Little Miss Brooklyn Seeks Applicants for Benefit Pageant
Proceeds to benefit Miss Brooklyn Scholarship Program
Brooklyn, NY (October 6, 2008) Applications are currently being accepted for the “Little Miss Brooklyn” pageant. This pageant will award a crown, sash, and either a $500 Savings Bond or $250 cash scholarship towards continuing the winner’s talent or academic education. Based on the number of entries, additional scholarships will be awarded to the court. The competition is open to girls ages 4 – 7 (Tiny Miss) and ages 8 – 12 (Little Miss) and will have all the requirements of the Miss Brooklyn pageant by showcasing a 3-minute interview, Active Wear, Party Wear and an optional 1-2 minute Talent Presentation. Eligibility requirements include contestants who live, attend school, has a parent or guardian living, working, or attending school in the borough or has a parent originally from Brooklyn.
All participants will be given an official Little Miss Brooklyn t-shirt, trophy, have a photo taken with both Miss Brooklyn and Brooklyn’s Outstanding Teen winners, and participate onstage at the Miss Brooklyn Finals February.

I want to share some well-kept secrets with all contestants that could seriously give you the edge in the swimsuit compeition AND gown on-stage. Several past winners have used body and face makeup by a company called It Cosmetics.
They have products like "Abs in a Box" "Smokin' Hot Legs" and even "Beautiful Breasts" that totally have the same affect as working out and plastic surgery.
