Okay, last night's episode was good - not as breathtaking as the previous week's, when Desmond revealed he's apparently been time traveling -at least once- and has been trying to keep Charlie from dying, not move in on Claire, as Charlie seemed to think.
Last night, we found out what Jack's tat's meant - the whole 'he walks among us, but isn't one of us', although, sorry, I just don't buy the whole Jack-as-omnipotent thing. He's a leader among the castaways, and that's come to pass because he's a doctor, and an intelligent, sometimes belligerent, man, with leadership qualities, not a god! It's like, get over it! I have to say, I'm liking he and Juliet, but then again, that's just as TPTB at Lost want it, right?
Sawyer and Kate. Why, oh, why, do they have to keep playing that same old, tired plot device -put 'em together, pull 'em apart- crap? Don't they think Sawyer and Kate are exciting enough to keep them as a couple? Making it acceptable for Sawyer to tell Kate he understood their hot jungle love was just a pity screw because she thought he was going to die the next day is ridiculous, and does the characters -and the writers- no justice. These two have been moving together, and making it sound like the first time they had sex was a throwaway, is bullsh*t. Really aggravates me.
Oh, and while I'm on the subject of things that irritate me about Lost - those people who keep going on about how confusing it is, and how they're not able to keep up, and the show needs to move it along, and then jump ship, I have these words: if you can't keep up, fine, watch a sitcom or something, but stop bad-mouthing the show. One of the great things about Lost is that it doesn't dumb down for us, and I love it. Sorry, but if you can't handle it, that's ***your*** issue, not Lost's.
